Clinical Wate Units for the safe disposal of soft clinical waste, including surgical dressings, swabs, gloves, gowns, clothing or other similar soft items.
- Full unit exchange service - fresh, clean unit replaced every time.
- Unit supplied with orange liner inside to indicate that waste is suitable for alternative treatment. All bags are noosed and marked with a code number on removal, in order that an audit trail can be followed.
- Units and liners are UN Approved and comply with ‘Safe Management of Healthcare Waste’ Guidance.
- Exclusive Activap™ germicide - unit contains a unique, environmentally friendly germicide certified against Hep B + C and HIV.
- A foam gasket is fixed around the lid to ensure that vapours are kept inside.
- Integral foot pedal, ensuring a 'no touch' facility when depositing the waste into the unit.
- Braille instructions imbedded in the lid saying - 'Lift here to open'.
- Option to lock the lid to the base for added security.
